Mazda Compliance – AutoHub's Online Widget
Overview
This article outlines the approved process for installing and configuring the AutoHub widget on Mazda dealership websites within the Mazda Digital Certified ecosystem. The procedure follows the compliance standards confirmed by Mazda Digital.
1. Background
AutoHub’s widget was temporarily removed from Mazda websites due to compliance concerns regarding Mazda’s Digital Standards (MDS). After review and clarification with Mazda Digital (Darryl Wilcox), it was confirmed that AutoHub’s implementation is compliant, provided the placement and linking guidelines below are followed.
2. Approved AutoHub Elements
Per Mazda’s approval and AutoHub’s confirmation, the following widget placements and features are allowed on Mazda dealer websites:
Element | Location | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Sub Menu Dropdown ‘Value Your Trade’ CTAs | In the New, Used, Finance, and Specials submenu dropdowns | Links to AutoHub Trade Widget |
Sell/Trade Button | Top navigation menu | Prominent call-to-action for customer engagement |
AutoHub Dynamic Banner | Top of SRP pages | Only permitted banner on SRPs per Mazda’s standards |
Sidebar CTA | Right side of the homepage only | Provides trade-in access without interfering with Mazda’s DR tool |
All CTAs must use AutoHub’s black accent color, as previously requested by Mazda.
Mazda Digital has approved this configuration as compliant.
